Frequently Asked Questions
Everything people usually ask before booking. If your question is not here, call or text and you will get an answer from the owner, not a call center.
The short version: we take almost anything, the estimate is free, the price is exact before we start, and it covers lifting, loading, hauling, disposal, and cleanup. Construction debris carries a weight-based added cost, quoted upfront like everything else. We are veteran owned, fully insured, and we answer the phone 7 days a week from 6am to 8pm.
What do you take?
Furniture, appliances, mattresses, garage and yard clutter, construction debris, old sheds, and most anything else you need gone. Not sure? Text a photo and we will tell you straight.
How much does junk removal cost?
It depends on how much space your items take on the truck, and for construction debris, the weight. You get an exact, free quote before we start, and the price never changes mid-job.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price we quote is the price you pay. Loading, hauling, disposal, and cleanup are all included.
Are you insured?
Yes, 1775 Junk Hauling is fully insured, and we are veteran owned and operated.
Do you donate or recycle?
Whenever items are in usable condition we do our best to donate or recycle them instead of sending them to the landfill.
How fast can you come out?
Phones are answered 7 days a week, 6am to 8pm, and same-day or next-day service is often possible depending on the schedule.
Do I need to sort everything before you arrive?
No. Point at what goes and we handle it. If you want help sorting keep-versus-toss as we work, that is part of the job.
Can you clear a whole property?
Yes. Full-house, garage, and yard cleanouts are quoted upfront after we see photos or do a quick walkthrough.
Can you take just one item?
Yes. Single-item pickups are welcome. Text a photo and we will quote it on the spot.
Do you donate usable furniture?
When an item is in usable condition, we do our best to donate or recycle it instead of sending it to the landfill.
Why is construction debris priced differently?
Weight. Tile, concrete, and lumber weigh far more than household junk, and disposal facilities charge by the ton. We quote the added cost upfront so there are no surprises.
Do you do demolition?
No. We haul away debris after the work is done. For tear-out or structural work you will want a licensed contractor; for everything they leave behind, call us.
How much does a shed tear down cost?
It depends on size, material, and what is inside. Text us photos and rough dimensions and we will give you an exact upfront price, free.
What happens to the concrete slab?
We sweep and clear the slab so it is ready to reuse. Slab removal itself is concrete work we will assess case by case when we see it.
